Who We Are

SVNR Foods was born in  2005 when Lalitha Swaminathan, a 65-year-old homemaker, started it to support her family after her husband’s demise with the help of the neighborhood ladies in a similar situation of need.

Creating South Indian flavors was a natural choice, given her love for cooking and deep-rooted knowledge of home-grown ingredients and recipes.

Using locally grown and fresh ingredients, SVNR Foods started with ready-made spice mixes for classic South Indian dishes like Rava Dosa, Sambhar, and Bisi Bele Bath. Then, buoyed by popular demand, the product inventory grew to include a range of freshly made pickles such as lemon and mango, ready-to-eat products, ragi-based health mixes, etc.
